One Woman, Many Grammatical Errors

Joyeux Mardi Gras!

Tomorrow marks the first day of Lent which means (among other things) no more Facebook!  I’ll admit, I’m freaking out a bit.  Facebook though has been taking up waaay too much of my time and attention and quite frankly there are things, people, crap that has been a negative impact.

So, in honor of this big step, here’s a list of 10 facts (possibly random, possibly not), the Lenton addition:

1.) I’m Catholic

2.) I’d rather give up caffeine than Facebook

3.) I adore Broadway, but Jesus rock is my jam.  Yep that’s right I love me some praise and workshop music.

4.) I don’t agree with a lot of stuff the Catholic church teaches/believes.

5.) I don’t think that makes me any less.

6.) When I was 18 I was blessed by Pope John Paul in Vatican City.

7.)  There were about 3,999 other people there too and I had no clue what he said, but let’s face it that doesn’t sound as cool.

8.) That day ranks right up there with my wedding day and Emerson’s birthday.

9.) Sometimes….a lot of times…I’m afraid of talking about my faith for fear of offending someone else or coming off as a Jesus Freak.

10.) I promise I’m not going to try to convert you :)
