Pass the Doggie Gerital

I took Archie boy in for a pretty routine visit tonight.  He needed more flea and tick meds, as well as some other routine stuff.  While we were there I wanted to ask the vet about his fat lumps that keep growing and his licking. 

We adopted Archie 2.5 years ago.  Best we could all figure he was 2-3 years old.  Of course, there’s no way to be sure but we really did think much of it.  As we were talking tonight, she informed me that he’s much more likely 5-6 years old.  Ok, no biggie.  Then, a bit later she came back and said much more likely 8 or 9.  There are a few things (including the fat pockets) that are indicitive of age. 

Is it a big deal?  Probably not.  Still it’s a little unsettling to think that in the course of 5 mins he aged 5 years.  In the meantime, perhaps we hsould start investing in some tapioca
